TECH REQUIREMENTS

Seatbelts required for all racers.

Helmets required for all roadsters and all cars running 13.99 sec or faster.

Inspection at the tech booth is required before you can be approved to race. Make sure your tires look good, there are no loose pieces on the car, and no fluid leaks.

Racing on Saturday is open to American made cars, must be pre-1964 and older.



CLASSIFICATIONS

FLATHEAD X
if you run a flathead you can compete in this class if you choose or you can move to a different class if you feel the need to beat up on other types of motors, but you can only compete in one class

GAS COUPE/SEDAN
pretty much the street driven hot rods

GAS ROADSTER
same as above, but topless

COMP COUPE/SEDAN
non streetable or not so streetable race cars

COMP ROADSTER
same as above but no top... dragsters not included

STOCK CAR
Your shoeboxes, Mercs, Caddys, etc... that sort of thing.
Mainly the full bodied cars without a bunch of performance work done to them

EXHIBITION
Vintage dragsters/race cars will do some exhibition runs for us througout the day on Saturday.

*Power adders such as nitrous, turbos, and blowers will move the car into the next higher class. (i.e a Flathead X Car with a blower will move to a Gas Class and Gas Car with nitrous will move into Comp etc.
